The Truth Told: Testimonials

As Dean of the College of Liberal Arts here at Bloomsburg University, I meet a lot of students. Many of them come to my office because of academic difficulties; some come because they’re looking for resources for special projects or exemptions from one academic policy or another. When Josh Schonberger first came by, I wasn’t sure what he was looking for; he was doing well enough academically, and he wasn’t looking anything specific or tangible. Instead, he came to talk about the future.  So talk we did. I found him then, as now, to be smart and creative. We talked about the applicability of his philosophy degree and creative writing minor to the world of commerce. I said then, and I believe now, that this kind of liberal arts preparation is ideally suited for any young person whose goal it is to bring clarity to complex situations and help investors identify and realize their goals. I am pleased at Josh’s success in these endeavors.  As my first conference with Josh drew to a close, I challenged him to visit my office every semester to update me on his academic and career progress. I say this to every student who visits me, and most of them I never see again. Josh was the exception. He has maintained periodic contact with me since that first meeting, a testament to his diligence and responsibility—to his commitment to keeping his commitments, if you will.  Josh Schonberger has grit and persistence, and he knows how to see a project through to completion. I have confidence in him, and I think you should too.

Sincerely,

I have known Joshua Schonberger all of his life. His parents and paternal grandparents have been close friends.  The family has long been well respected for their honesty, hardwork and keen understanding of various facets of the business world. It is in that tradition that Josh has grown. I know that he will carry on the family tradition with pride.

In Josh I see the same tenacity and willingness to look beyond the obvious to reach a positive resolution of all issues. He is goal oriented and a fine human being.
